Invoicing

1% per invoice paid online

Send an invoice through Clocked and it carries a hosted link where your client pays by card. When they do, Clocked keeps 1% of the payment through Stripe.

Questions

Is Clocked really free?
Yes. Time tracking, the calendar, clients, projects, templates, exports and sync across every app are free, with no subscription and no limits on clients, projects or entries. The only thing we ever charge for is an invoice that a client pays online.
How does invoicing pricing work?
When you send an invoice through Clocked, it carries a hosted link where your client can pay by card through Stripe. When they do, Clocked keeps 1% of that payment as its fee; Stripe's own card-processing fees apply on top, as they would with any processor. There is no monthly fee and nothing is charged for invoices you print, email yourself, or mark paid by hand.
Do I need an account?
Not to start. The desktop and mobile apps work the moment you open them, with no sign-up. Create a free account whenever you want your time to sync across devices or use the web app, and everything you tracked comes with you. An account is only required to send invoices, because payments need to reach your bank.
Which platforms does it run on?
macOS (Apple Silicon and Intel), Windows and Linux on the desktop, iPhone and Android on mobile, and any modern browser through the web app. The desktop app also puts your running timer in the menu bar.
How do payments reach me?
You connect a Stripe account once from Settings, which takes a few minutes. Clients pay on the invoice page and Stripe pays out to your bank account on its usual schedule. Clocked never holds your money.
Can I export my data?
Yes, as CSV or JSON, at any time. Your tracked hours are your business records, not our leverage.
